California Privacy Request
How to ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted.
Last updated 25 August 2026.
Where we stand
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to businesses that meet specific thresholds — an annual gross revenue figure, a volume of consumers or households whose personal information is bought, sold or shared, or a majority of revenue derived from selling or sharing personal information.
RePlumbify does not sell or share personal information, and does not derive revenue from doing so. Whether the other thresholds apply is being confirmed. Rather than hide behind that, we will handle any request described below the same way regardless of whether we are legally required to.
What you can ask for
- To know — what categories of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
- A copy — the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Correction — to fix personal information about you that is inaccurate.
- Deletion — to have your personal information deleted, subject to the records we must keep for tax, legal, warranty or safety reasons.
- To opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of and nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off.
- No retaliation — we will not treat you differently, refuse service, or change your price because you made a request.
How to make a request
Call (877) 473-7586 and say you are making a privacy request. Or email info@replumbify.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. You can also write to us at 3291 Ramos Cir, Sacramento, CA 95827, marked "Privacy Request".
Tell us:
- Which request you are making
- The name, phone number or email address you would have given us
- Roughly when you contacted us, if you remember
Verifying who you are
Before we hand over or delete anything, we need to be reasonably sure you are who you say you are — otherwise the process itself becomes a way to get at someone else's information. We will ask you to confirm details that match what we already hold. We will not ask you for a Social Security number, a payment card, or a copy of a government identity document.
Authorised agents
You may use an authorised agent. We will ask for written permission signed by you, and we may still contact you directly to confirm.
Timing
We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and how much longer, up to the additional 45 days the law allows.
What we may not be able to delete
Records of work actually performed, invoices, warranty records, and consent records may need to be retained for tax, legal, safety or contractual reasons. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you what and why rather than quietly keeping it.
